These cancellations were decided based on prevalence of duplicated or overlapping content with other databases, or due to a very high cost-per-use for the material, and will result in a reduction of subscription spending by approximately CAD$ 91,000.&nbsp;<br>The most significant reduction noted here is from Nursing Reference Center Plus, on which we spent CAD$ 68,425.58 last year, resulting in a cost-per-use of CAD$ 37.72.&nbsp;<br>Thanks to all the librarians, particularly those working in Health Sciences, that provided the necessary feedback to inform these difficult decisions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Colleagues, The following databases will not be renewed once the current subscription period has elapsed:&nbsp; ComDisDome&nbsp;(Communications disorders database from ProQuest); expires on December 31st.
