Both of these agreements provide APC-free publishing for UofA corresponding authors in their Hybrid (subscription\/OA) journals, and discounted APCs in their Gold (fully OA) journals. In addition, the UofA Library has negotiated a TA with Trans Tech Publications that provides APC-free publishing in all 15 of their Engineering and Materials Science journals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A campus-wide communication on our TAs is forthcoming, but please take this opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.ualberta.ca\/research-support\/open-access\/apc\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.library.ualberta.ca\/research-support\/open-access\/apc\">list of publishers <\/a> who provide APC-free and APC-discounted OA publishing for our authors in 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Library&#8217;s Article Processing Charge Support page has been updated with two new TAs negotiated by the CRKN consortium: Elsevier and Oxford University Press.
