{"id":690,"date":"2018-03-06T20:29:00","date_gmt":"2018-03-06T20:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.library.ualberta.ca\/collections-information\/?p=690"},"modified":"2020-02-24T21:14:06","modified_gmt":"2020-02-24T21:14:06","slug":"new-database-feature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.library.ualberta.ca\/collections-information\/2018\/03\/06\/new-database-feature\/","title":{"rendered":"New Database Feature"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The new Manuscript Matcher feature in&nbsp;<em>EndNote<\/em>&nbsp;allows researchers to enter the title, abstract, and references from their papers and match them against over 8K journals indexed in&nbsp;<em>Web of Science<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Journal Citation Reports<\/em>&nbsp;to identify a list of appropriate titles for publication.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rt0rT0wemrI\">This 3 minute video<\/a>&nbsp;provides an overview of how this feature works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Manuscript Matcher<\/em>\u00a0is available through\u00a0<em>EndNote<\/em>\u00a0on the\u00a0<em>Web of Science<\/em>\u00a0platform, but because this &#8216;free&#8217;\u00a0version of\u00a0<em>EndNote<\/em>\u00a0has limited functionality and it is not supported by the Library, we have not set it up as a database asset.
