It was taken in mid November 2017 at Banff National Park. As the changing climate continues posing threats to human and nature, severe weather becomes more frequent in the world than last century. My research focuses on the relationship between climate change and forest ecosystem. And one major concern is about how trees respond to climate change and severe weather. In the mid November 2017, the larch growing at Banff National Park had encountered early freezing condition and struggled to respond to such condition differently by adopting to early snow and chilling effect.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
