This photo showcases iron reduced onto silicon nanoparticles, as noted by the metallic sheen. The photo demonstrates a turning point in my research which allowed the development of a facile method to synthesize transition metal silicides. My research will continue to explore and synthesize these materials before delving into high entropy alloys which are a combination of five or more metals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
