As always, the seven days were filled with lectures, such as the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Big Thinking (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.congress2019.ca\/program\/big-thinking\" target=\"_blank\">Big Thinking<\/a> series, book launches, poetry readings, and other special events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UAlberta Press had a booth at the Book Fair and we\u2014Douglas Hildebrand, Mat Buntin, Cathie Crooks, and Monika Igali\u2014had a chance to visit with some of our authors and converse with the many scholars who browsed our book display.
