They talked about <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1017-9781772125818-impact\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1017-9781772125818-impact\" target=\"_blank\">Impact: Women Writing After Concussion<\/a><\/em>. And then <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/albertaviews.ca\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/albertaviews.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alberta Views<\/a> <\/em>magazine ran a full-page review of the book, by Doreen Vanderstoop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stacey May Fowles reviewed Theresa Kishkan&#8217;s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1028-9781772125993-blue-portugal-and-other-essays\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1028-9781772125993-blue-portugal-and-other-essays\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Blue Portugal and Other Essays<\/a><\/em> in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/quillandquire.com\/review\/blue-portugal-and-other-essays\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/quillandquire.com\/review\/blue-portugal-and-other-essays\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Quill &amp; Quire<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uaf.edu\/campusmap\/for-visitors\/buildings\/library.php\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uaf.edu\/campusmap\/for-visitors\/buildings\/library.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rasmuson Library<\/a> presented a book discussion of <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/977-9781772124828-our-whole-gwichin-way-of-life-has-changed-gwichin-kyuu-gwiidandai-tthak-ejuk-goonlih\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/977-9781772124828-our-whole-gwichin-way-of-life-has-changed-gwichin-kyuu-gwiidandai-tthak-ejuk-goonlih\" target=\"_blank\">Our Whole Gwich&#8217;in Way of Life Has Changed \/ Gwich&#8217;in K&#8217;yuu Gwiidand\u00e0i&#8217; Tthak Ejuk G\u00f2onlih: Stories from the People of the Land<\/a><\/em> with authors Sharon Snowshoe and Leslie McCartney. The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/media.uaf.edu\/media\/t\/1_cggo56gg\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/media.uaf.edu\/media\/t\/1_cggo56gg\" target=\"_blank\">discussion<\/a> was recorded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epl.ca\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.epl.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Edmonton Public Library<\/a> hosted a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.library.ualberta.ca\/ualbertapressblog\/?page_id=8508\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"8508\" target=\"_blank\">panel discussion<\/a> featuring Edmonton contributors to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1015-9781772125788-situating-design-in-alberta\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1015-9781772125788-situating-design-in-alberta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Situating Design in Alberta<\/a><\/em>, as part of their Capital City in Conversation series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gavin Bradley read from his new book, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1030-9781772126013-separation-anxiety\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1030-9781772126013-separation-anxiety\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Separation Anxiety<\/a><\/em>, for Artbar. Michelle also read at an <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/bcwriters.ca\/inverse\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/bcwriters.ca\/inverse\" target=\"_blank\">In\/Verse Reading<\/a> with Lesley-Anne Evans and Terence Young.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Theresa Kishkan joined host Megan Cole for Telling the Truth, an event with non-fiction writers, organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/bcwriters.ca\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/bcwriters.ca\/\">Federation of BC Writers<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nancy Holmes launched <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1031-9781772126020-arborophobia\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uap.ualberta.ca\/titles\/1031-9781772126020-arborophobia\" target=\"_blank\">Arborophobia<\/a><\/em> with friends and colleagues in Kelowna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And last but not least, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/MRtRFQUWkTc\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/MRtRFQUWkTc\" target=\"_blank\">Literary Cocktails<\/a> was another highly successful event!
