We currently have a trial ongoing for staff to provide feedback on Cabell’s Whitelist and Blacklist services. This trial will be active until February 15th, so please send us any feedback you may have after trying it out.
Cabell’s Whitelist and Blacklist is a service aimed at reducing the risk of predatory journals for academics by assessing journals for quality and good publishing practices. The Whitelist currently has over 11,000 academic journals listed in 18 discipline guides. The Blacklist analyzes journals for over 60 ‘behavioral indicators’ assessing journals and warning of any perceived exploitative practices.
