Deselection Guidelines for Physical Material
The purpose of these guidelines is to allow for consistency and coordination in the deselection and discarding of physical materials across the University of Alberta Library. They establish definitions and principles that ensure a consistent approach among staff members working on deselection projects. These guidelines adhere to the principles set out in the Collection Development Policy of the University of Alberta Library.
