We’ve been alerted by CRKN that there are changes related to APC discounts for a couple of our publisher platforms:
The American Chemical Society (ACS) is moving from a 25% discount for UofA authors to a flat discount $250 USD per OA article, effective July 1/19. Personal ACS members will still receive an additional APC discount.- Cambridge University Press is still offering a 20% APC discount for UofA authors, but the process has now been automated and authors are no longer required to provide a token number. They simply need to select the name of the institution during the submission process.
We have requested that the How do I publish OA? page, which lists available APC discounts for UofA authors, be updated accordingly.
