Remember ye olde Chadwyck-Healey interface? You’re most likely to recall it, if you’ve been using collections such as Early English Books Online (EEBO), which contains about 100,000 digitized titles from the earliest days of English publishing. There was always a little irony in using an interface that seemed nearly as old as Shakespeare’s first folio, while actually viewing Shakespeare’s first folio.
ProQuest has gradually been migrating databases from Chadwyck-Healey to the current ProQuest interface. This is just a note to let you know that EEBO, one of the most popular resources on Chadwyck-Healey, has now received this treatment.
