Unfortunately the National Film Board has removed some films from our NFB Education streaming service (formerly known as NFB Campus). They haven’t provided a list of the films they’ve removed. This issue is affecting many universities across Canada, and multiple consortia are pressing the NFB to reverse, and at least communicate clearly, these changes.
This means you might hear from instructors who are finding new paywalls for films they’ve already assigned in their courses. If this happens, please notify us right away because we may be able to get access restored, or find a workaround. Please use a helpdesk ticket, to help us keep track.
We just received a new NFB MARC record set that will update our holdings, so the main concern in the near future will be syllabus links that haven’t been tested recently.
