I tried modifying a FlashForge 3 3D Printer to a bioprinter so it can accommodate printing organogels, which is essential for making transparent and stretchable anti-icing (anti-fouling) films which has potential application for vehicle sensors, especially in winter. The photos depict the arduous and lenthy process of disassembling, configuring, and modifying the printer with the DIY 3D printed extruder to be able to print such materials.
