The University of Alberta Library has joined a CRKN transformative agreement with the Institute of Physics (IOP) which provides full access to their journals, and allows for open access publishing by affiliated authors with no author processing fees.
The agreement is retroactive to December 15, 2021, and corresponding authors affiliated with CRKN institutions participating in this agreement can publish an unlimited number of their articles under an open access license in most IOP hybrid and gold journals at no charge to the author for the duration of the agreement. A small number of affiliated journals are excluded from this agreement.
