What a tumultuous time this is, with lots of information and many changes to process. Through the summer months, our team here at the Press has embraced different workflows and entered into a new and very productive rhythm. With September on the horizon we thought we’d update you on how we’ve weathered the past few months and what we’re looking forward to in the fall.
We are very fortunate that almost all of our work can be done remotely and that our three distributors (based in Canada, the United States, and England) have all remained open as essential warehousing services.
New books are coming out, our September poetry reading season is coming up, and exciting projects are coming our way.
We look forward to the return of Tanvi Mohile, our first PhD intern, and to welcoming Richard Costa, our newest PhD student—both from the Department of English and Film Studies at the University of Alberta.
September always infuses fresh energy and, for many of us, feels like the true start of a new year.
We hope that all of our colleagues and friends are doing well as you navigate these new waters. Here’s to new adventures!
